2006 Event Photos

Events were slow during the 2006 season.  There were not many pictures taken and the Martin CSCDRA event was rained out.

Michigan Bug-Out (Milan Dragway)
July 22nd, 2006

Michael was doing his typical wheel-standing action and Brian was doing his typical breaking of the transaxle.  Michael lost in the 1st round and joined in again with the buy-back option.  He won the 2nd round, but lost in the 3rd round.  Brian chipped a tooth off 1st gear during time trials, but kept on racing.  He also lost in the 1st round and did the buy-back option.  He won the next 2 rounds, but during the 2nd win he broke the adjuster screw on his rocker arms ending his racing action.
Overall it was a fun day with nice weather.  Little did we know at the time it was going to be the last time a Michigan Bug Out was going to be held at Milan Dragway.

CSCDRA Event (US 131 Martin Dragway)
September, 2006

I can't remember what the date was for the event.  I do remember the drag racing portion was rained out.  They still held the car show portion of it and there were only 3 tub buggies there.  Al VanZandt won 1st, John Mahoney took 2nd, and Brian Lillibridge placed 3rd.  They tried to re-schedule it later that month, but the weather once again did not cooperate.
